Wednesday, January 18, 2017 Steady Wage Gains for Heidehof Employees with New Contract Locals Local 302 Newsletters Ratifications Sectors Healthcare St. Catharines, ON—Local 302 members employed by Heidehof Home for the Aged in St. Catharines, Ontario, voted recently to accept the tentative settlement reached between the employer and the union. The new collective agreement provides employees with steady wage gains over the four-year term. Wages will increase 1.3 percent in the first year of the contract and 1.4 percent in each of the remaining three years. Additional special adjustments were made to the wage grid for RPNs and maintenance employees. In addition to wage gains, the new agreement provides employees with significant improvements to their benefits coverage.
