Representation

Create a strong voice and make your workplace a great place. Our stewards and representatives bring workers together and help you achieve a better work-life.

They are there to answer your questions, help you when problems arise at work, and advocate on your behalf.

What is a CLAC Steward?

Each workplace has at least one stewarda co-worker who serves as a link between your workplace and the union. Your CLAC steward is your first point on contact in all union matters. Stewards receive labour relations training and know the collective agreement inside and out.

If you have a workplace concern, or have questions about your union membership, talk to your steward first.

Don’t know who your steward is? Log in to myCLAC to find out.

What is a CLAC Representative?

Each workplace is served by a dedicated CLAC representative—a CLAC employee who is trained in labour relations, is skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution, and can answer all your questions on member rights and benefits.

CLAC representatives work full-time for you and make it their priority to address your workplace concerns quickly. They can also put you in contact with the right people to arrange counselling or to get advice and support if you have issues in your private life that are affecting you at work.
