CLAC Jobs - Central
CLAC helps support workers of all trades and experience levels who are looking for opportunities in the construction industry. CLAC does not run a hiring hall—meaning our workers are open to finding work wherever they want!
CLAC offers a free program that is open to members and external applicants looking for construction work opportunities within CLAC. We do this by requiring each applicant submit documentation, as well as complete a pre-screening interview. Once we have all the information we need, we distribute your details to our signatories who may have work opportunities via our bi-weekly CLAC Applicant Profile List. When our signatories have a hiring need, they consult our listing of available workers and, if interested, are then able to reach out to discuss the opportunity with you directly.
Application Process
If you are interested in joining our program, the steps to enroll are as follows:
- Fill out our application form: Application Form
- Upload in all required documents including (but not limited to):
- Current resume
- Current health & safety certificates that meet CLAC standards including (but not limited to)*:
- Working at Heights and/or Fall Protection
- WHMIS
- Health & Safety Awareness
- Any additional training certifications
- Current trade certifications (if any)
- Complete a pre-screening call with our team to review your information and preferences
*Training requirements vary by trade and province. Upon receiving your intake form, the CLAC Jobs team will provide a detailed overview of the documentation that is needed.

Stay in Touch
Once your application has been processed, our team will circulate your details as part of a bi-weekly list of available applicants that is sent to all corresponding CLAC employers. If an employer is interested in discussing a work opportunity, they will contact you directly via the contact information you have provided. Our program offers no guarantee of employment as all final hiring decisions are made by the employers.
To ensure the information distributed to employers remains current, our team will check in with you every two (2) weeks via email to confirm your continued availability. It is your responsibility to respond in a timely manner to remain active in our program. If your employment status changes at any point during this time, please be sure to let us know.
