We understand the nature of contract-based employment for our members can be a perpetual transition with turnovers, layoffs, and shifting locations. We are here to offer supportive services, helping to connect workers who are job-site-ready with CLAC employers who are looking to build their workforce in construction & maintenance.

CLAC Jobs - Central offers a free program that is open to members and external applicants looking for construction work opportunities within CLAC. We do this by requiring each applicant to submit documentation, as well as complete a pre-screening interview. Upon meeting the program standards, a jobs profile is created and distributed to CLAC employers. If the employer wishes to pursue your application, they will contact you directly.

Join Our Program

If you are interested in joining our program, the steps to enroll are as follows:

1. Fill out our application form: Application Form    

2. Upload all required documents including (but not limited to):

• Current resume
• Current health & safety certificates that meet CLAC standards including (but not limited to)*:
  • Working at Heights and/or Fall Protection
  • WHMIS
  • Health & Safety Awareness
  • Any additional training certifications
• Current trade certifications (if any)

3. Complete a pre-screening call with our team to review your information and preferences

*Training requirements vary by trade and province. Upon receiving your intake form, the CLAC Jobs team will provide a detailed overview of the documentation that is needed.
