Thursday, April 8, 2021 Sylvan Lake Lodge Employees Ratify New Two-Year Contract Locals Local 301 Ratifications Sectors Healthcare Sylvan Lake, AB—Employees of Sylvan Lake Lodge voted 66 percent in favour of a new collective agreement providing them with wage increases and other improvements. The 35 employees are represented by Retail, Health Care, and Service Employees Union, CLAC Local 301, which was certified as the union for the employees in 1991 by the Alberta Labour Relations Board. The two-year contract provides annual wage increases of 1.5 percent, increases to employer contributions to the pension plan for long term employees, a 50 percent increase to the shoe and work clothing allowance, and a new hourly training premium. In addition, the agreement provides employees with three paid mental wellness days per year.
