It reflects fairness, respect, and progress for the membership. We secured strong gains in wages and benefits, along with more flexibility that supports staff in balancing their work and personal lives.” The agreement also introduces inclusive language, streamlines job posting and vacation scheduling processes, and reaffirms the long-standing spirit of collaboration between the union and the employer. “This contract strengthens an already cooperative relationship between CLAC and Park Lane Terrace,” says Farrell. “It’s a positive step forward for both employees and the residents they care for each day.” You might be interested in Why We Work Safely 5 Jun 2026 Standing Your Ground, and Staying Steady on the Job 4 Jun 2026 CLAC Partners with Alberta Government to Advance Skilled Trades Training and Accelerate Certification 4 Jun 2026 Strathcona Mechanical Workers Ratify New Agreement Providing Wage, Scheduling Improvements 3 Jun 2026
