He and his wife, Rei, and their two children live in Calgary. Chris has served his fellow members as a steward since 2019, working for AECOM/Heartland. Living the life of shift work gives Chris a genuine pulse on what the everyday looks like for many Local 63 members and a solid understanding of what membership expects from a board member. During his days off, Chris and his family enjoy hitting the slopes in the winter and canoeing/paddleboarding in the summer. Frantz Maignan, Vice-President Frantz is a pipefitter who has been a member of Local 63 since 2005. He and his wife, Josée, and their four children live in Edmonton. Frantz has a deep loyalty to Local 63. He has served his fellow members as a steward and chief steward steadily over the years including members working for JV Driver, Berry Y&V, Flint Energy, and Ledcor. After serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, Frantz decided to go into the pipefitting trade and work in Alberta in the construction industry. His role as a steward fits perfectly with his desire to serve the membership, and he has a heart of gold for the growth and continued development of Local 63 members working in Alberta. Frantz has served as a Local 63 Board member from 2017 to 2019, and he would love to serve the local again as an elected member of the board. David Reid, Secretary David is an active member of Local 63 and has been working for CLAC-signatory contractors since 2012. He is now at Albian Sands with Heartland Constructors. Over the past 30+ years, Kevin has worked in various union and nonunion environments. He believes the CLAC model is the most productive and beneficial for labour-management relations. As a dedicated steward, he has been involved in both grievance procedures and collective agreement negotiations, including the largest ratification in Local 63 history. Kevin is committed to working continuously for the best interests and wishes of the members and would appreciate the opportunity to do so as a board member. Jamie Cull, Member at Large Jamie was born and raised in Marystown, Newfoundland, where he still lives today with his wife and three children. He is a cancer survivor, community volunteer, and loves spending time in the outdoors. In 2007, he started his career as a pipefitter, and his first job was as a member of CLAC. As his career progressed, he learned more about the benefits of being a CLAC member and realized he could help his coworkers by becoming a steward. In 2008, Jamie took on his first steward position and has been an active steward, both in chief steward roles, and supporting a team of stewards. Jamie loves being able to interact with people from all the different trades, helping out and supporting Local 63 members where he can. He believes that we can accomplish anything when working together in a safe and inclusive environment. He looks forward to bringing that supportive, collaborative attitude to the Local 63 Board.
