Saturday, September 20, 2025 Joint Labour Management Meetings What are they, who attends them, and why are they important? Manitoba Local 306 Labour management, union management, and joint labour management meetings all refer to a similar type of meeting. These are outlined in your collective agreement under one of these headings. At these meetings, your union stewards and CLAC representatives meet with management to discuss important labour relations concerns that affect you and your coworkers, your work, and your workplace. The agenda for these meetings is put together from concerns and feedback shared by members, which is why it’s so important to speak with your steward or CLAC representative if you have something that you would like discussed at the employer-union table. Meeting minutes are posted for all members to read. This allows you to stay informed about the progress being made on items discussed. Some topics brought up in these meetings may also be forwarded to your Workplace Safety & Health Committee (WS&H) for further discussion. If you’re not sure how to contact your steward or representative, please reach out to the CLAC Winnipeg Member Centre, and we’ll be happy to help you identify your local stewards and representatives.
