Graceview Enterprises Employees Ratify New Three-Year Contract

Annual hourly pay increases, improved pension contributions, and more included in approved contract

Belmont, ON—Employees of Graceview Enterprises Inc. have ratified a new three-year contract, effective immediately until June 2023. The employees voted 92 percent in favour of the settlement as negotiated by Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 53.

The three-year contract provides employees with total value increases as high as $3.96 per hour. Along with hourly pay increases of 2.75 percent annually, the new collective agreement provides improved vacation pay, pension contributions, vision coverage under healthcare benefits, and employee leave for personal days. Improved language and compensation governing travel was also secured, as well as improved employee allowances for tools, boots, and workwear.

“This settlement serves as a solid financial foundation for our members for the next three years,” says Roger Grootenboer, CLAC representative. “Graceview has always been a workplace where employees come on board and then choose to stay for their career. This settlement continues to provide certainty of work with solid compensation terms to maintain that positive work community and culture. We were pleased to work with management to arrive at this mutually beneficial reality.”

Graceview Enterprises is a construction company based in Belmont, Ontario, with over 40 years of experience in the residential, institutional, and commercial construction fields.
