Wednesday, April 15, 2026 CLAC and Organized Kaos Empower Next Generation Trades Supporting the next generation of trades through mentorship and hands-on learning Blogs For the past three years, CLAC has continued to sponsor and champion the work done through Organized Kaos (OK), a local Brantford-based charity that is helping young people learn about life, faith, and the skilled trades through hands-on experience. Earlier this year, Organized Kaos announced plans to expand beyond the city limits of Brantford, and launch new shops and offer classes in Cambridge, very close to CLAC's head office and member centre. They had the space, finances, and staff all lined up and ready to go; however, they needed more mentors local to the Cambridge area. To help support this search and growth, CLAC was pleased to welcome Organized Kaos for their Mentorship Information Night on April 8 at the CLAC Cambridge Member Centre. It was a fun night of food, networking, and learning more about the great work and vision of Organized Kaos. Over 70 people came out to participate in the event, including Local 6 CLAC member Christopher (Topher) Bonany, who works with O’Connor Electric. Topher had a chance to share his experience with Organized Kaos, encouraging more tradespeople and CLAC members to get involved. This is what he had to say about the event: “Organized Kaos has been an amazing organization to be a part of. Each week I get to mentor my students in trade and life, teaching them electrical, sharing my faith and building their confidence to tackle both work and life’s challenges and problems. It’s been an honour to have to opportunity to build into the next generation of trades and young people, to help equip them with skills they can use in work and life, and give them a leg up in getting a solid career started. I would highly encourage all CLAC members to consider volunteering with Organized Kaos to build into the next generation of trades. Thank you to Organized Kaos for making this possible and thank you to CLAC for supporting them in their ministry and helping to make what we do possible.” We are excited to see the growth of Organized Kaos and look forward to more partnership opportunities in the near future.
