Cambridge Member Centre Grand Opening!

CLAC has a new member and training centre to serve members in southern Ontario

On November 10, 2016, CLAC held the grand opening of its new Cambridge Member Centre, national head office, and training facility. This 60,000-square-foot building was constructed primarily by CLAC members and will serve the representation needs of thousands of members, the training needs of members and non-members, and the national needs of CLAC.

Numerous community and political leaders took part in the celebration, including Minister of Labour, the Honourable Kevin Flynn, who delivered the keynote address.

Dick Heinen, CLAC executive director, and Hank Beekhuis, Ontario director, unveiled a plaque that lists the CLAC members who took part in constructing this building.

Two CLAC training partners—the Pre-apprenticeship Training Institute and Grand River Occupational Health and Safety, are also located in the building.

Thank you to all the members who worked on the new member centre, and for those who came to the event. If you are in the area, visit us at 45 Commerce Court, Cambridge, Ontario.
