We understand that contract-based employment includes turnovers, layoffs, and shifting locations. That’s why we offer various employment services—helping to connect workers who are job-site-ready with CLAC employers who are looking to build their construction and maintenance workforces.
Our jobs program is free of charge and open to members and external applicants looking for construction work within CLAC.
Simply complete our application form, submit the required documents, and complete a brief pre-screening interview. Upon meeting the program standards, a jobs profile is created and distributed to CLAC employers. If an employer wishes to pursue your application, they will contact you directly.
If you are interested in joining our program, the steps to enroll are as follows:
*Training requirements vary by trade and province. Upon receiving your intake form, the CLAC Jobs team will provide a detailed overview of the documentation that is needed.
Our team will check in with you every two weeks via email to confirm your continued availability. If your employment status changes at any point during this time, please let us know.
