Upon completion, participants will be able to identify hazards in skid steer operation, know the requirements of legislation, and identify the different types and sizes of skid-steer loaders (including track style, multiterrain loaders). Participants will have knowledge of safe loading and unloading techniques, pre-shift equipment inspection, and have a firm understanding of hazards on the job. A practical portion and written test is required for each participant.
