WHMIS | In-class

This course is designed to provide an understanding of how to work safely with hazardous products.

Topics include how hazardous products are classified and how the hazards are communicated through GHS pictograms, labels, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

This knowledge is then used to guide selection of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), use proper storage methods for hazardous products, and guide actions that need to be taken in the event of a exposure or release.
