Mobile Elevating Work Platforms | Blended Online
This course covers the fundamentals of operating a boom lift and scissor lift and includes topics such as pre-start inspections, safe operating principles, safety devices, hazards, and more. Practical evaluation is completed on a 45- or 60-foot articulated boom lift. This course will be delivered as a blended learning approach, with theory training offered in a mandatory online format.
Following online completion, the student will visit the training facility to complete a pre-scheduled practical training session. These sessions will be conducted in a small group of up to five people. Physical distancing and strict sanitization protocols will be in place.
This course is designed for both novice and experienced operators. Please review the novice and experienced operator descriptions below.
