Friday, December 29, 2017 Your Local 519 Board Locals Local 519 Newsletters One board position was up for election at this year’s annual general meeting. CLAC Representative Ryan Griffioen’s term had ended, but he agreed and was acclaimed by the membership to serve a subsequent term. Long-standing board members Lawrence Jasper, Shannon Shillington, and Jeremy Ramboer continue to serve out their terms on the board executive. Lawrence, a long-time CLAC member and former chief steward employed by Sinteris, in Blenheim, serves as president of the board. Shannon, also a long-time CLAC member and former chief steward employed by Sinteris, serves as vice-president, while Jeremy serves as treasurer. Jeremy is a long-standing steward employed by Waste Management of Canada Corporation, Lambton County. Ryan serves as secretary. All Local 519 Board members are dedicated to making the local stronger in 2018 and better for the working people of the region.
