Thursday, April 6, 2023 York Concrete Pumping Employees Ratify Four-Year Contract Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction Maple, ON—Local 52 pump truck operators employed by this ready-mix contractor ratified a four-year agreement providing them with sizable wage increases and other improvements. The operators have been represented by Local 52 since 2014. The new contract provides total compensation increases ranging between $8.64 and $8.91 per hour (depending on length-of-service) over the term. The biggest portion of the gains will be applied immediately. In addition, overtime provisions have been improved, as have hours-of-work provisions, which will reduce the number of unwanted short workdays.
