Tuesday, April 1, 2025 Xterra Construction Employees Unanimously Ratify New Contract Locals Local 6 Ratifications Sectors Construction KITCHENER, ON—Local 6 members employed by Xterra Construction Inc., based in Kitchener, Ontario, unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with significant wage gains and other improvements. The new contract provides members with an immediate 10 percent increase to base wage rates. Wages will increase by a further five percent in 2026 and three percent in 2027. In addition, vision-care coverage increases to $500 every two years, and the life insurance and AD&D payout increases to $50,000.
