Tuesday, February 25, 2025 Woodland Constructors Employees Vote Overwhelmingly in Favour of New Contract Locals Local 63 Ratifications Sectors Construction Edmonton—Local 63 members employed by Woodland Constructors Ltd. voted 82 percent in favour of ratifying a 32-month collective agreement. This Graham company has approximately 200 members working in industrial construction, mainly in and around Edmonton at the Air Products net-zero hydrogen energy complex and Dow’s Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero expansion project. The new contract provides an immediate 4.17 percent increase to base wage rates to the $50 per hour compulsory trade rate. A 4 percent scheduled increase in March 2026 will bring compulsory trade rates to $52 per hour, and in March 2027, a further 3.8 percent increase to wages will bring the compulsory trade rates to $54 per hour. The agreement also includes a 0.5 percent increase to matching pension contributions, bringing the total to 2.5 percent.
