Tuesday, June 18, 2019 Wilkinson Construction Employees Ratify New Contract Providing Solid Gains Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction Toronto—Local 52 members employed by Wilkinson Construction Services Inc., based in Toronto, unanimously ratified a new collective agreement providing them with wage increases and other improvements. The three-year contract includes a total wage increase of up to $6 per hour, a $50 annual increase to the boot allowance, the introduction of a foreperson rate, a 10 cents per hour increase to the pension plan, and general updates to the collective agreement language. “The process for negotiating this agreement went well,” says Joshua Vanderlaan, CLAC representative. “We were able to secure good increases for our members.” Wilkinson Construction employees work in the Greater Toronto Area. They have been represented by Local 52 since 2013.
