The 32-month agreement provides members with competitive wages, employer-paid benefits through CLAC’s plan, a retirement package, and a solid training model. The 16 labourers are currently working on the West LRT project in Edmonton. “These previously nonunion workers had been courted by other unions but instead approached CLAC for representation,” says Matthew Guay, representative. “They had previously worked for other CLAC-signatory contractors and are excited to be part of CLAC again.” You might be interested in #WomenWednesday - Shandora Threadgould 22 Jul 2026 The Power of Asking for Help 20 Jul 2026 How to Manage an Insecure Leader 16 Jul 2026 Heat of the Moment 13 Jul 2026
