Welcome New Local 519 Members!

Local 519 welcomes 12 new members employed by 1811965 Ontario Inc., a rebar fabricator based in Chatham. The local was certified as the bargaining agent in September 2017 after the employees chose to leave the Iron Workers Union.

Carlo Cresta, the current steward, is proficiently serving on the bargaining committee along with CLAC representatives Kate do Forno and Ryan Griffioen. Negotiations are currently underway for a renewal collective agreement.
