Tuesday, August 28, 2018 Wallwin Voice & Data Workers Unanimously Ratify First Contract Local 52 Ratifications Barrie, ON—CLAC Local 52 members employed at Wallwin Voice & Data have unanimously ratified their first collective agreement. Highlights of the three-year contract includes wage increases, a benefit plan, and a pension plan with employer contributions. “This is the first agreement for our members at Wallwin Voice & Data and I’m appreciative of our bargaining committee for the time and energy that was dedicated to a productive negotiation process,” said Joshua Vanderlaan, a Local 52 representative. “We worked hard to ensure that this agreement was beneficial to our members and secured an increase in wages and pension contributions for each year of the contract. The unanimous ratification is a strong sign of support for the work of the bargaining committee and that the priorities of the members were achieved.” Wallwin Voice & Data employs seven CLAC members who install security and surveillance systems in the Barrie area.
