Tuesday, December 4, 2018 Wages, Benefits Are Highlights of Contract for CLAC Workers at CIF Construction Local 63 Ratifications Edmonton—CLAC Local 63 has secured a 32-month collective agreement with CIF Construction Ltd. for members working at the Coalspur Vista Mine in Hinton, Alberta. The project should employ approximately 150 CLAC members when it is running at peak capacity. Highlights of the contract include a four percent wage increase in August 2019, a wage review in 2020, and an agreement to use CLAC Training on future jobs. Workers will also retain the CLAC benefits plan. CIF Construction is a concrete contractor based in Prince George, BC.
