Tuesday, June 9, 2020 Wage, Pension Increases for Villano Construction Employees with New Contract Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction Sudbury, ON—Employees of Villano Construction Limited, based in Sudbury, unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with wage and pension increases. The employees are represented by Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 52. The union has represented the employees since 2011. The new contract provides employees with an initial wage increase across the board with an additional one percent increase in 2021 and two percent in 2022. Employees will also receive four percent employer contributions and three percent matching contributions to the CLAC Pension Plan, with a one percent increase to each in 2021. Villano employs 20 equipment operators and labourers working on various projects including sewer and water as well as road work in the Greater Sudbury area.
