Friday, January 14, 2022 Wage Increases, Other Improvements for Lakeview Retirement Centre Employees Locals Local 302 Ratifications Sectors Healthcare Hamilton, ON—Local 302 members employed by Lakeview Retirement Centre Inc. in Hamilton voted in favour of a three-year collective agreement providing them with annual wage increases and other improvements. The local has represented Lakeview employees since 1995. The new contract provides members with a two percent per year wage increase over the term. In addition, RPNs and PSWs will receive a $.05 per hour top up each of the three years and dietary aides will receive top ups of $.20, $.1,0 and $.10. The agreement includes improvements to vision and dental benefits, increases to voluntary pension contributions, and increased sick days to 20 for full-time employees. In addition, the agreement includes improved guidelines and entitlements for absences due to COVID-19.
