Wednesday, May 14, 2025 Valley Mechanical Employees Unanimously Ratify New Three-Year Contract Local 52 Ratifications Construction MISSISSAUGA, ON—Plumbers, fitters, and welders employed by Valley Mechanical Inc., a mechanical contractor based in Mississauga, Ontario, unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement. The 15 Local 52 members’ compensation will increase 9.6 percent over the term of the contract. Their vision coverage will improve, and the advantageous apprentice and foreperson pay structure will continue. “The bargaining committee negotiated the right settlement, which met their colleagues’ priorities and expectations,” says Robert Brink, representative. “The unanimous ratification result shows that.” Valley Mechanical employees have been represented by Local 52 since 2016.
