Tuesday, April 4, 2023 Triton Transport Employees Secure Numerous Improvements with New Contract Locals Local 66 Newsletters BC Transportation Ratifications Chilliwack, BC—Employees of Triton Transport Ltd. recently ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with numerous improvements. The employees are represented by Transport, Marine, Warehousing, and Allied Workers Union, CLAC Local 66. The union has represented them since 1999. The new contract provides significant gains in pension contributions and live-out and meal allowances along with a reasonable cost-of-living wage increase. “The members working at Triton are some of the most highly skilled truck drivers anywhere in North America,” says Don Mundy, CLAC representative. “This contract makes sure they remain competitive in their industry.” Triton Transport is based in Chilliwack, BC, with operations in Nisku, Alberta. Specializing in the heavy haul industry, these Local 66 members carry some of the biggest loads allowable for transport on highways across North America.
