Courses are open to CLAC members and nonmembers. Industrial Scaffold Training Program The Saskatoon Member Centre offers the Industrial Scaffold Training program. It consists of three levels, with scaffolding hour requirements for each level. Study binders for each exam level are $100 and can be purchased from any CLAC member centre. Course Cost Hours Required 1st Year Scaffold Exam $400 1,600 2nd Year Scaffold Exam $400 3,200 3rd Year Scaffold Exam $500 4,800 First Level Supervisor Training Program CLAC Training offers the FLST program—an online course for individuals looking to become first level supervisors in any sector. Topics covered include the supervisor’s role in relation to safety, human resource management, and problem solving. The course consists of six modules and takes 14 hours to complete. It is accredited for five credits toward Gold Seal Certification. Member price: $275 Nonmember price: $375 Learn more at clac.ca/training/Saskatchewan. Reimbursements for Apprentices CLAC will reimburse member apprentices up to $850 per school year for tuition fees, exam fees, and books.
