THOMAS, ON—Local 53 members employed by Trade Tech Mechanical Services Inc. unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with significant wage increases. The local was certified in June 2022 to represent the company’s plumbers and HVAC technicians. The new contract provides members with a 13 percent total increase over the term. Included in the settlement are significant increases to wages and improvements to the tool and safety allowance. Trade Tech is a plumbing, hydronics, and HVAC contractor based in St. Thomas, Ontario.
