The employees left their previous union to join Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 52 in 2025. The group, which includes labourers and carpenters, secured wage improvements, a clearer wage progression path, new premiums, and enhanced benefits coverage. The agreement also introduces participation in the CLAC Pension Plan, providing long-term retirement security for members. “This group of workers had a frustrating couple years with their previous union,” says Robert Brink, CLAC representative. “With an excellent agreement in place, we’re looking forward to a more stable future with wages, a pension, and benefits that put these workers on a solid path.” Clonard Group performs work on projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
