Friday, July 12, 2019 Tamarack Employees Vote Unanimously in Favour of New Contract Ratifications Sectors Construction Ottawa—CLAC members employed by Tamarack Developments Corporation working in Ottawa and Kingston voted unanimously in favour of a renewed collective agreement. The new three-year agreement provides the approximately 50 workers with annual wage increases, an increased employer pension contribution, as well as additional premiums for those with Red Seal certification. Increases to the boot, tool, mileage, and gas allowances are also included. Tamarack Homes is an Ottawa-based residential developer working throughout Ottawa and Kingston. Tamarack Homes employs carpenters, labourers, service technicians, and inspectors. CLAC has represented the employees since 2007.
