Tuesday, April 22, 2025 Synapse Electric Employees Ratify New Contract Local 52 Ratifications Construction PICKERING, ON—Local 52 members employed by Synapse Electric Limited, based in Pickering, Ontario, ratified a three-year collective agreement. The new contract provides members with an increase of more than seven percent over the term. Members will see improvements to their benefits plan including life insurance, vision coverage, and dental coverage. The agreement also includes language updates, and members will continue to receive 18 percent in employer-paid pension contributions. Synapse Electric is an electrical contractor providing services throughout the GTA. Local 52 has represented the company’s employees since 2016.
