The local board made the decision to support youth mental health initiatives this year as many members and their families are impacted by mental health issues. “Our youth are the ones who will be supporting us, working in our hospitals, nursing and retirement homes, and in the skilled trades,” says Leigh-Ann, who works at Meadow Park Nursing home in Chatham. “We want to help them to be their best selves and help them deal with things that are impacting them now.” Leigh-Ann Ulch, Mary Ellen Alward (CLAC representative), Youth Wellness Hub staff Previous Next You might be interested in Why We Work Safely 5 Jun 2026 Standing Your Ground, and Staying Steady on the Job 4 Jun 2026 CLAC Partners with Alberta Government to Advance Skilled Trades Training and Accelerate Certification 4 Jun 2026 Strathcona Mechanical Workers Ratify New Agreement Providing Wage, Scheduling Improvements 3 Jun 2026
