Tuesday, November 21, 2023 Supporting Youth Wellness Locals Local 303 Newsletters Ontario Healthcare Local 303 steward and board member Leigh Ann Ulch joined representative Mary Ellen Alward to deliver over 130 fidget toys and cash donations to the Chatham-Kent Youth Wellness Hub. The local board made the decision to support youth mental health initiatives this year as many members and their families are impacted by mental health issues. “Our youth are the ones who will be supporting us, working in our hospitals, nursing and retirement homes, and in the skilled trades,” says Leigh-Ann, who works at Meadow Park Nursing home in Chatham. “We want to help them to be their best selves and help them deal with things that are impacting them now.” Leigh-Ann Ulch, Mary Ellen Alward (CLAC representative), Youth Wellness Hub staff Previous Next You might be interested in Skill and Care on the Milk Route 17 Sep 2026 Building Skills, Growing Careers 15 Sep 2026 CLAC's Statement on Canada's Energy Future 14 Sep 2026 Seeing Clearly 13 Sep 2026
