All causes and amounts are selected at random from qualified nominations. In June, Tabor Home Society, nominated by Local 66 member Shawn Driedger, who is employed by Triton Transport Ltd., won a $2,500 donation from CLAC. “Tabor Home Society was established in 1959 and is the forefront of seniors care and innovation, an employer of choice, and a charity of choice,” says Shawn. “With over 200 employees and 200 volunteers, Tabor Village is dedicated to helping seniors live life to the fullest by being committed to their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Currently, Tabor Village offers independent, assisted, and complex care to over 300 hundred individuals and is raising funds for building upkeep and other special projects. This donation will go a long way to helping us meet our goals.” Shawn Driedger, Andrea Critchley (Tabor Home Society) Previous Next You might be interested in Standing Your Ground, and Staying Steady on the Job 4 Jun 2026 CLAC Partners with Alberta Government to Advance Skilled Trades Training and Accelerate Certification 4 Jun 2026 Strathcona Mechanical Workers Ratify New Agreement Providing Wage, Scheduling Improvements 3 Jun 2026 Ready to Deliver 3 Jun 2026
