Monday, June 12, 2023 Strong Wage Increases for Circon Construction Employees Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction North York, ON—Local 52 members employed by Circon Construction Corporation unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement providing strong wage increases and other improvements. The new contract includes wage increases of 14 percent over the term plus improvements to paid sick days and paid parental leave. The contract also improves travel provisions, boot and attire allowance, and vacation pay, and it adds a new lead-hand category to properly compensate members who take on a workplace leadership role. Circon is a general contractor in the GTA specializing in new build and renovation projects for car dealerships, places of worship, and similar projects. CLAC Local 52 has represented Circon’s employees since 2014.
