Friday, October 31, 2025 Strong Wage Improvement for Johnson Electric Employees Local 53 Ratifications Construction LONDON, ON—Local 53 members employed by Johnson Electric Inc., an electrical contractor based in London, Ontario, unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with strong wage gains. The new contract focused heavily on improving hourly wage rates, with annual increases of $2 per hour for journeypersons. The journeyperson total package compensation improves by $8.42 per hour, the equivalent of a 15 percent increase over three years.
