Monday, March 23, 2026 Strong Wage, Benefits Gains for London Development Employees Local 52 Ratifications Construction ETOBICOKE, ON—Local 52 members employed by London Development Corp. unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with significant wage, benefits, and retirement gains on March 13, 2026. The group, which includes labourers and operators, secured wage increases of up to $7.73 over the term. The agreement also includes a pension increase of up to two percent, significant improvements to benefits, and a $100 boot and tool allowance. Additional gains include paid travel time, daily gas reimbursement, and a company vehicle. “Our members are loyal, multiskilled workers who add significant value to their company,” says Randy Parris, representative. “This settlement delivers meaningful improvements for members and their families, and the group unanimously endorsed the agreement.” London Development is a general contractor based in Etobicoke, with members working on job sites across the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions.
