Local 6 members working at a Schilthuis Construction site in Hamilton were in attendance on July 20 when Prime Minister Trudeau thanked CLAC members and announced additional funding for similar affordable housing projects. Ministers Filomena Tassi and Ahmed Hussen accompanied the PM on his tour of the apartments, built in the former Royal Oak Dairy building. You can watch a video of the event at cpac.ca.
