Tuesday, February 25, 2025 Steward Profile Chris Bell, journeyman pipefitter with Red River Solutions at the NEWPCC site in Winnipeg Newsletters Manitoba Local 152 My responsibilities include layout and installation of piping systems, and I also lead and mentor apprentices. As a cottage owner on Lake Winnipeg, this current project affects me directly. Its purpose is to help save the lake that I swim in every summer. In my role as a CLAC steward, I’m responsible for making sure that the concerns of my fellow workers are being addressed. I make sure that they know their rights and that those rights are being respected. I have been a steward with CLAC on and off over the last six years. I took on this role because I enjoy being the voice of my coworkers and making sure that everyone comes to work everyday knowing they are being looked out for.
