Monday, October 9, 2017 Sprinkler Fitters Ratify New Contract News Edmonton—Local 63 members employed as sprinkler fitters with Gisborne Industrial Construction Ltd. ratified a new 28 month agreement, effective September 1, 2017. The contract includes an immediate $1.00 per hour increase to the journeyperson rate, with further wage negotiations scheduled for October 1, 2018 and July 1, 2019. Gisborne employs approximately 30 sprinkler fitters and apprentices in the Edmonton area.
