Monday, September 8, 2025 Showing Appreciation for Dedicated Service Members were acknowledged earlier this year for their many years of service at Holland Christian Homes, Cedarvale Lodge, and VON – London Local 303 Local 304 Ontario Healthcare Holland Christian Homes In April, we were happy to attend the third annual staff recognition dinner at Holland Christian Homes in Brampton, Ontario. Forty-nine staff were recognized for length of service, ranging from five years up to thirty-five years. What a great night celebrating these Local 304 members! Rhonda Gow, Cedarvale Lodge Rhonda was recognized for 35 years of service at Cedarvale Lodge Retirement and Care Community. She began her career five years before Local 304 was certified to represent Cedarvale’s employees. She has been a strong supporter of CLAC over the years, serving as a member of the bargaining committee for over 17 years, on the Local 304 Board in various capacities, as a member representative on the CLAC Pension Plan Board of Trustees, and as an active and dynamic steward since 1999. Congratulations and thanks, Rhonda, for your many years of dedicated service! Victoria Order of Nurses – London In May, we had the pleasure of joining the incredible team of Local 303 members at the Victoria Order of Nurses London office for their staff appreciation lunch in honour of these amazing personal support workers! Janet DeRuiter, Marcelina Tacmo, Indrani Lal, Behije Mulaj, Debbie Campbell, Janet Stephens, and Sharmane Martin were celebrated for 20 years of service with HCH.
