Tuesday, November 3, 2020 Scholarship Winners! Newsletters Ontario Healthcare Each year, CLAC awards a number of $1,500 scholarships to members or their spouse, children, or grandchildren. Despite the global setback that is the COVID-19 pandemic, CLAC received over 135 applications this year, and 20 scholarships were awarded, including three winners from Ontario healthcare members. Congratulations! Abir Hasan Asfiis studying business management at Ryerson University. His father, Md Abul Hasan Molla, is a Local 304 member employed by Wexford Residence Inc. Lisa Broad is in the Practical Nursing program at St. Clair College. She is a Local 303 member employed by Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. William Partridge is in the Chemical Production and Power Engineering Technology program at Lambton College. His mother, Cindy Cadotte, is a Local 303 member employed by Village on the Thames.
