Tuesday, November 3, 2020 Scholarship Winners! Newsletters BC Local 68 Each year, CLAC awards a number of $1,500 scholarships to members or their spouse, children, or grandchildren. Despite the global setback that is the COVID-19 pandemic, CLAC received over 135 applications this year, and 20 scholarships were awarded, including five winners from Local 68 members. Congratulations! Natalie Bennett is studying for her master of counselling degree at City University. Her spouse, Chadwell Bennett, is a Local 68 member employed by Corrcoat Services Inc. Beverly Inglis is enrolled in the Visual Art program at Vancouver Island University. Her husband, Stephen John Inglis, is a Local 68 member employed by Ledcor CMI Ltd. Er Jun Ma is in the Arts program at the University of British Columbia. His father, Xiaoming Nmn Ma Sr., is a Local 68 member employed by PCL Energy Inc. Emily MacKinnon is studying for her bachelor of science degree in nursing at the BC Institute of Technology. Her father, Craig David MacKinnon, is a Local 68 member employed by Pomerleau Inc. Maxwell Peacock is studying for his bachelor of arts degree in leadership at Trinity Western University. He is a Local 68 member employed by PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc.
