Locals Local 306 Newsletters Manitoba Local 306 Congratulations to Lea Friesen, Jessica Giesbrecht, and Brooklyn Wiebe, who each won a $1,500 CLAC scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year! Lea is Local 306 member formerly employed by Hanover School Division. She is studying for her bachelor of arts degree at the University of Manitoba. Jessica is the daughter of Kimberly Giesbrecht, who is a Local 306 member employed by Garden Valley School Division. She is also studying for her bachelor of arts degree at the University of Manitoba. Brooklyn is the daughter of Kenneth Wiebe, who is employed by Garden Valley School Division. She is in the Integrated Program in the Faculty of Education at the University of Winnipeg.
