Wednesday, December 16, 2020 Save-On-Foods Workers across Alberta Ratify New Contract Local 301 Ratifications Calgary—Local 301 members employed by Save-On-Foods stores across Alberta have voted in favour of a new collective agreement. The five-year contract was approved by a strong majority in a ratification vote that was conducted online due to current COVID-19 restrictions in the province. CLAC represents approximately 4,000 Save-On-Foods workers in Alberta. "The settlement includes increases for our long term members, improved scheduling language, as well as a number of work-life balance improvements,” says Mike Montague, CLAC representative. Save-On-Foods is a supermarket chain with 177 stores across western Canada.
