Saturday, August 31, 2019 Save-On-Foods Negotiations Update: Fall 2019 We have made good progress on many of the nonmonetary issues Locals Local 301 Newsletters More bargaining dates for renewal of the collective agreement are scheduled for October. The union bargaining committee has met with the company over 13 days, and we have made good progress on many of the nonmonetary issues that were raised in surveys of the membership. The bargaining committee continues to monitor factors in the grocery retail industry in western Canada and how they will affect the Alberta market. In the meantime, all terms and conditions in the collective agreement will not change until negotiations for a new agreement have been completed and ratified by the membership. If you work at Save-On-Foods, keep an eye on your store’s bulletin board for more updates.
