Rumble Electric Employees Vote Strongly in Favour of New Three-Year Settlement

ETOBICOKE, ON—Local 52 members employed by Rumble Electric Co. Ltd., an electrical contractor based in Etobicoke, Ontario, voted 96 percent in favour of ratifying a new three-year collective agreement.

Members will see an eight percent increase to hourly wages over the term, plus improved benefits coverage, travel amounts, and employer pension contributions.

“Our members at Rumble will see steady improvement to their already sector-leading compensation package,” says Robert Brink, representative. “Members prioritized stability, and the union bargaining committee worked with the employer on a settlement that provides it.”

The 30 journeyperson electricians and electrician apprentices employed by Rumble Electric provide services primarily in the GTA.
