Wednesday, March 31, 2021 Rock Electric Employees Secure Wage Gains with New Contract Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Etobicoke, ON—Local 52 members employed by Rock-Electric Inc., a GTA-based electrical contractor, ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with significant wage gains. The 30 members will see their wages increase by $1.25 per hour in the first year of the contract and by $1 per hour in the second and third year. In addition, members gained improvements to travel. “Despite some tough challenges at the table, the union bargaining committee worked hard to find the compromises necessary to get travel improvements our members wanted to see,” says Robert Brink, representative. “Wages were another key priority for the guys, and the increases negotiated keep things moving in the right direction.” You might be interested in Skill and Care on the Milk Route 17 Sep 2026 Building Skills, Growing Careers 15 Sep 2026 CLAC's Statement on Canada's Energy Future 14 Sep 2026 Seeing Clearly 13 Sep 2026
