Thursday, November 28, 2019 Ridgeline Electric Employees Unanimously Ratify New Contract Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction Woodbridge, ON—Local 52 members employed by Ridgeline Electric Inc. unanimously ratified a new collective agreement providing them with wage increases and other improvements. The three-year contract includes a total wage increase of $4 per hour plus an additional 1 percent in employer contributions to the pension plan in the third year. The agreement also includes a $50 increase to the annual boot allowance, improved travel provisions, and contract language updates. “The bargaining committee made sure that the priorities of the members at Ridgeline Electric were heard,” says Joshua Vanderlaan, CLAC representative. “The agreement reflects the hard work that went into this process.” The 12 electricians employed by Ridgeline perform electrical work in the Greater Toronto Area. Local 52 has represented them since September 2016.
