Ridgeline Electric Employees Ratify New Three-Year Contract

WOODBRIDGE, ON—Local 52 members employed by Ridgeline Electric Inc. voted 93 percent in favour of ratifying a three-year collective agreement providing them with significant wage increases.

The new agreement provides a total wage increase of $5 per hour over the term, maintains the retirement contribution at 10 percent, and raises the foreperson premium to 7.5 percent.

Ridgeline Electric is an electrical contracting company based in Woodbridge, Ontario, whose employees work on job sites across the Greater Toronto Area. Local 52 has represented the company’s employees since 2016.

“We’re pleased with the outcome of this round of bargaining,” says Josh Vanderlaan, representative. “The settlement reflects continued collaboration and growth within the company and ensures fair compensation for members working throughout the region.”
